Visitors

Looking to visit central Arkansas and want to know how to get around? Our public transit system is growing every day (read all about it here), and we’d love for you to check it out.

From Clinton National Airport (LIT)

Everything you need to know about the temporary METRO Connect Airport-Port-Shorter College on-demand microtransit zone, which serves the Clinton National Airport, can be found here and here. This zone serves Little Rock’s River Cities Travel Center, 310 E. Capitol Ave., which is three blocks south of the popular River Market District and close to restaurants, hotels, bars, cultural attractions and more. METRO Connect riders can pay fares using the Token Transit mobile fare payment app, which allows riders to access transit passes via a smartphone, anytime, anywhere. For more information on downloading and using the Token Transit app, click here. For METRO fare information, click here.

METRO Streetcar

Our historic replica streetcars are a huge hit with natives and visitors alike and are a fun, unique way to take in the downtown sights of central Arkansas’ “twin cities.” Spanning the beautiful Arkansas River, the system links some of the most vibrant destinations in Pulaski County, including the Clinton Presidential Center and headquarters of the global nonprofit Heifer International; North Little Rock’s historic Argenta district; the Little Rock River Market and Creative Corridor; and favorite restaurants, hotels, brewpubs, cultural attractions, shops and more.
