METRO is proud to announce Assistant Director of Finance Justin Avery’s membership in the Little Rock Regional Chamber’s Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXIII. Avery joins METRO board and staff members who are Leadership Greater Little Rock alumni in carrying on the tradition of community service and is the first METRO employee to join the program.

Chamber Announces Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXIII

The Little Rock Regional Chamber formally announced the members of Leadership Greater Little Rock Class XXXIII Wednesday, Sept. 27, 4 p.m. at an event held in the Great Hall of the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and presented by Simmons Bank. Following the announcement, Simmons honored the new class members with a reception. Class XXXIII is Presented by Chase Bank in partnership with Arkansas Children’s Hospital, Clark Contractors, CHI St. Vincent, Relyance Bank and Wright, Lindsey & Jennings.

Each year, approximately 50 class members are selected from many applicants to participate in the nine-month program.  One day a month, October through June, the class meets at a different Central Arkansas venue to explore a variety of topics through expert speakers, panelists, tours and group presentations.  Designed to develop a network of skilled leaders, the program informs, educates and trains participants on a wide variety of local and public issues.

In its 33rd year, Leadership Greater Little Rock has graduated 1,539 community leaders, including a Secretary of State, President Pro Tempore of the Senate, two University Presidents, an Adjutant General of the National Guard, six Chamber Chairmen and two Federal Judges.  Class XXXII will be led by volunteer Co-Chairs Robin Connell (Class XXVIII), PLANTation services and Bobby Harris (Class XXIII) Ifrah Financial Services.

Leadership Greater Little Rock is an initiative of the Little Rock Regional Chamber.
